Slide 3 - INTRODUCTION Honor killing of a family member on the beliefs that the victim has brought shame to the family or has violated the rules by the community general woman become the victim of Honor killing where the male family member suddenly kill them due to shame. In some cases both men and women can become victim practiced within the family man countries have put strict laws against this practice.
Slide 4 - Reasons of Honor killing * As perceived by the community indulging in honor killing. Utilizing dress code unacceptable to the family community. * Wanting to terminal or prevent a love marriage or desiring to marry by own choice. * Engaging in certain sexual act including those with the opposite or same gender. * Huge cast based discrimination and stratification of the society.
Slide 5 - CASES REPORTED *The human Commission of Pakistan listed still 769 cases of honour killing between Sindh and Punjab Province 376 woman victim and 393 man victim.
Slide 6 - QANDEEL BALOCH * Qandeel Baloch was one such woman who was shunned and eventually killed for challenging entrenched patriarchal norms. * Her struggle warrants particular mention because she inspired and propelled though posthumously critical reforms in the law that deals with honour killing in Pakistan. *Qandeel asserted independence to live according to her own choice and refused to confirm. And for that she was seen as a slight to her family's so called honour as someone who deserved to be brutally killed..
Slide 7 - PAKISTAN LAW An Amnestly international report noted the failure of the authorities to prevent these killings by investigating and punishing the perpetrators. Honour killing are supposed to be prosecuted as ordinary murder but in prectice police and prosecutor often ignore it. The government of Pakistan failure to take effective measures to end the practice of honour killing is indicative of a weakening of political institution corruption and economic decline.

In the wake of civil crisis people turn to other alternative models, such as traditional tribes Custome in 2016 Pakistan repeated the loophol which allowed the perpetrators of honour killing to avoid punishment by seeking forgiveness for the crime from another family member and thus be legally pardoned. Pakistan penal code to the British Colonial law is based on the 1860 code imported by Britain which granted a lenient sentence to a man who murder his wife for grave and sudden provocation.

The government of Pakistan should have strict laws against the people who not only commit the genius crime but also supported it by hiding it and removing the evidence. This grave offence needs immediate attention and should be monitored as people are still losing their lives in the name of honours.
