On their seminal 1999 album Millennium, The Backstreet Boys professed, "I want it that way," and 25 years later they got it. Zappos, yes, Zappos, has released an exclusive version of the New Balance 997R for the retailer's 25th anniversary and they've plucked inspiration from cultural events that year, and they chose the boy band's album cover for this pair of sneakers.

This isn't an official collaboration between The Backstreet Boys and Zappos, but it's hard not see the inspiration in the shoe. On the cover, the guys are wearing white suits, while there's a glowing light blue background. The sneakers have a classic grey New Balance base with hits of white, blue, and light blue.

They released this week and are available now for $100. Get a pair here and maybe you'll feel larger than life.
